Competitions are a vital part of a fencers development, at any age or level. We thoughgly reccomend that you or tyour child enters at least 5 competitons per year. If you are unsure as to which level or type opf competition please dicsuss the options with your coach or call the office at anytime for further help and guidence.
All our entry fees include the following:
Coaching - Coaching from a member of F.Fit staff present at the competition - please note we cannot guareenatee that a fencer will always have a coach or member of staff present for every fight. Staff will help and guide all the fencers throughout the day during a match and on and off the piste.
Refereeing - Referees need to attend from the club. Any club entereing more than 3 fencers need to supply referees to ensure the compettion runs smoothly as quickly. The more entries from a club the more refs are required. Some of our staff often give uop their time to referee but we always ensure their travelling and any reasonable expences are supplied.
